DESCRIPTION:Get ready for our Opening Day Celebration!\nOur parade is back and we’re looking forward to a fun-filled day of games! Griffith Girls Softball will be joining us during the parade to help celebrate the start of their season\, too!\n\n\nThe parade will begin at 9am at the Franklin Center and head down Broad Street down to Pine Street\, where we’ll end at our Major Field. The Opening Ceremony will immediately follow the parade. And then it’s time to PLAY!\n\n\nOpening Day Game Schedule:\n\n\nTball on the Major Field:\nCubs at Tigers 10am\nGuardians at Yankees 11:30am\nWhite Sox at Angels 1pm\nRookie on Minor Field:\nWhite Sox at Cubs 10am\nCubs at Tigers 11:15am\nNationals at Yankees 12:30pm\nMinor:\nRockies at Cubs 2pm\nGiants at Rockies 4pm\nDodgers at Diamondbacks 6pm\nMajor:\nRockies at Nationals 3pm\nPirates at Giants 5pm\nBabe Ruth:\nHermits Blue at Griffith Red 2pm\n#GYB2022\n\n———————————–\n\n**GYB Team Info**\n– Wear your uniforms\, but no cleats until game time. Dress for the weather!\n– Managers/Coaches/Players: Arrive in the Franklin Center parking lot no later than 8:45am. ONLY VEHICLES IN THE PARADE ARE PERMITTED IN THE LOT. Drop players off outside the lot. You can walk in the parade or ride in a vehicle (decorate it!). Please only one vehicle per team. Vehicles must line up in the lot\, two to a row\, and move around and up to the front as you drive in.\n– Tell your family and friends to line up along Broad Street for you to wave to.\n– When you reach our major field\, please park along the streets and walk to the field. Teams\, enter the major field and line up around the perimeter of the field.\n– The Opening Ceremony will begin!\n– Games start at 10am.
