2020 Season
The 2020 season will be here soon! Registrations will begin in January so please check back for dates.
2019 Picnic and Closing Ceremony
It’s time for the GYB 2019 Picnic and Closing Ceremony!
The league picnic will be held on August 4th from 12-5pm. Closing ceremonies and trophies will be at 1pm with food and fun to follow. We ask that all teams (coaches and players) be there by 12:30 so we can get food out and everyone set up.
The board will provide plates, utensils, hot dogs, and burgers. We ask our GYB family to help us out with the following food:
• T-Ball/Rookie: Side dish
• Minors/Majors: Dessert
• Babe Ruth: Fruit or Chips/Dip
Please bring your own:
• Beverages (no alcohol)
• Coolers
• Chairs
• Towels (we’ll have a water slide!!!!)
• Tents for your family to sit under
If we can get enough people, we’ll get a coaches/adult game going on the major field! Who’s in???

Opening Day 2019
JOIN US FOR THE OFFICIAL START OF THE GRIFFITH YOUTH BASEBALL SEASON!
Watch our parade, watch the kids play, eat some food, and have some fun!
The parade will begin at the YMCA at 9:30am sharp and go down Broad Street to our major’s field on Pine Street*.
Opening Ceremonies will follow the parade. Games will follow opening ceremonies and begin at approximately 11am.
(Game schedule will be posted here shortly.)
* If you’re a player or coach, please be at the YMCA at 8:45am for line up. Each team can have 1 car/truck in the parade for riding in or for show. Only cars in the parade are permitted in the YMCA lot so please drop off outside the lot. Please decorate your vehicle if you have one (paper plates with strong magnets work great). Kids can ride in the truck or walk with the coaches. Please line up by teams in the major field after the parade. (Have kids wear tennis shoes for the parade. No cleats until game time.)

Sign ups will take place this Saturday instead of Sunday due to Super Bowl. The time will be from 12-2pm due to BlackCats schedule.
